Saving Jobs in Wisconsin
What do you do when hardworking employees risk losing their jobs because a company might be sold out-of-state?
Former HWCC Board President Kate Hill and her husband Don, responded to that by purchasing the business, TIE, now a division of Dakonte Product Group, Inc., a company that oversees several product lines, from industrial envelopes to menu covers.
This acquisition ensured job security for the employees and even shortened their employees’ daily commute to work as the business was relocated to the northwest side of Milwaukee, where most reside.
Alderman Johnson took part in the grand opening ceremony of the Hill’s new business on Monday, May 22nd, stating, “We thank Kate and Don, and we offer a hearty welcome to Milwaukee for their business”.
Thank you Kate and Don for keeping jobs in Wisconsin and bringing jobs to Milwaukee!
